Acoustic impact study at MB92

Ingenieria para el Control del Ruido (ICR) has recently carried out a noise impact study of the shipyard repair and maintenance of yachts MB92, located in the port of Barcelona.

The study has had the goal to define optimal solutions in order to minimize the noise emitted by the shipyard, where much of the activity takes place outdoors and affects the acoustic comfort of neighbors.

With the goal to determine the corrective steps to follow up, ICR has made several measurements at different campaigns, different noise sources and in different work situations in order to characterize its power acousitc. After analyzing the results of acoustic power sources,the terrain and buildings in the vicinity of MB92, ICR has developed a numerical model in order to simulate the different work situations in MB92.. This methodology of study has allow ICR to define a numercial model capable of adapting to the variability of different work situation identified at MB92 and to define solutions according to the clients necessities in every moment.

De recherche (R & D) de nouvelles méthodes pour résoudre les problèmes vibro-acoustiques. Elle conçoit également des logiciels pour le contrôle de la qualité et de calcul isolats du son et offre de la formation dans les entreprises privées et les écoles publiques.
