Acoustic control for reducing the noise of a small industrial pump

ICR has carried out an acoustic control study for reducing noise generated by a pump which is part of a piece of equipment used in laboratory analysis belonging to Laboratorios Grífols S.A., a company dedicated to the research and development of several hospital products. 

The first step taken by ICR was to take several acoustic and vibration measurements with the aim of characterizing the source of the noise, as well as how to determine the structural and acoustic sound transmission paths.
The analysis of all this data has enabled the company to get to the bottom of the problem and to develop an adequate acoustical solution
ICR has carried out extensive work in the industrial acoustics, including the design of acoustical solutions for acoustic problems involving machinery or the industry itself. It also deals with vibration as a problem resulting from the sound or as the main problem. ICR also provides predictive maintenance services for these elements.

ICR is an Acoustic Engineering resolving problems of noise and vibrations. ICR works for the railway, car, industry, construction and environmental sectors. The company researches (R+D) new methods to solve vibroacous-tic problems. ICR also designs software for quality control and transmis-sion loss and teaches acoustics to private companies and official colleges.
