Vibration measurement on the nacelle's in a Alstom Wind prototype wind turbine

Alstom Wind has continued trusting ICR to elaborate a vibration measurement on the nacelle's prototype wind turbine. This preventive study, carried out for two months ago, had the goal of identifying and defining the vibrations in the structure of the nacelle to further enhance its performance. ICR used its own equipment to elaborate a Modal Analysis of the structure, and calculated the wear in the interior components of the nacelle.

ICR is an Acoustic Engineering resolving problems of noise and vibrations. ICR works for the railway, car, industry, construction and environmental sectors. The company researches (R+D) new methods to solve vibroacous-tic problems. ICR also designs software for quality control and transmis-sion loss and teaches acoustics to private companies and official colleges.
