Collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Virtual Acoustics with the UPV

The Polytechnic University of Valencia, UPV, has launched a project to provide a tool which will allow institutions perceive the acoustic result of any architectural work of conservation, rehabilitation and improvement of heritage precincts before its practical realization.

The task of ICR in this project is to develop a calculation method which allows extending the frequency range in the acoustic calculation of a specific premise.

From ICR we find very interesting to participate as collaborators, thus carrying out a project of virtual acoustics applied to design projects, rehabilitation and archaeological acoustics of material and immaterial heritage.

ICR is an Acoustic Engineering resolving problems of noise and vibrations. ICR works for the railway, car, industry, construction and environmental sectors. The company researches (R+D) new methods to solve vibroacous-tic problems. ICR also designs software for quality control and transmis-sion loss and teaches acoustics to private companies and official colleges.
