Vibration measurement in the thermosolar Borges Plant. Abantia and Comsa Emte.

Thermosolar Borges central, property of COMSA EMTE and Abantia, has benefited Ingeniería para el Control del Ruido S.L. for vibration measurements in the field of future Thermosolar plant located in Les Borges Blanques (Spain).

The study has focused on measurements of the vibrations  caused by the circulation of AVE in the vicinity of the future plant and the development of a predictive model by finite element modeling (FEM). The objective was to determine the level of vibration that will occur in the support structure of the turbine because of the train's high speed circulation a few meters from the central and predict whether the current design meets the requirements vibrating.
 
From the control of the vibrations from the train tracks to the grounds of the plant and the development of a simulation model, ICR has been able to estimate the vibratory level of the table of the turbine before construction, thus allowing design validation by COMSA EMTE.

ICR is an Acoustic Engineering resolving problems of noise and vibrations. ICR works for the railway, car, industry, construction and environmental sectors. The company researches (R+D) new methods to solve vibroacous-tic problems. ICR also designs software for quality control and transmis-sion loss and teaches acoustics to private companies and official colleges.
