Work procedure

For a long time now, ICR has been working carrying out noise measurements on-site, simulating real situations and proposing acoustical solutions that make life easier . 

Noise predictions, both rail traffic and roads, are regulated for europeean regulations, which are included in all the company procedures. 

In reference to R+D projects, ICR has work in the quantification of the acoutic powers or in the definition of new materials for acoustic barriers made from recycled products.


Below, are detailed ICR services in this sector: 

  • Theoretical and practical studies of model inversions to calculate the potential acoustics of diferents sound sources.
  • Simulations of sound pressure maps (amongst other acoustic parameters) on dificult topographies.
  • Design of mufflers.
  • Numeric simulations (Finite Element Method and Boundary Element Method).
  • Measurements of vibrations and multichannel noise.
  • Noise and vibration transmission paths.

ICR is an Acoustic Engineering resolving problems of noise and vibrations. ICR works for the railway, car, industry, construction and environmental sectors. The company researches (R+D) new methods to solve vibroacous-tic problems. ICR also designs software for quality control and transmis-sion loss and teaches acoustics to private companies and official colleges.
